MES students experienced various extra-curricular activities. Let’s start with the longest: the 7 days MES Model United Nations, 11th edition. The model hosted almost 270 students organized by almost 100 high school students through an academic council and an organization council led by MES students and assisted by high school students from other schools. You did it Salma Youssef (MEAS Senior), Ali Farag (IGCSE Junior) co Secretary General of the model! The model was covered with very expressive pictures! Monday, April 27th, Modern Education Schools 9th Interscholastic Startup Competition took place in Coworker (workspace), Heliopolis. For the 2nd year consequently, the competition is sponsored by Robusta Technology Group where MES alumni Mr. Abdelrahman ElNaka is working as the head of products manager and one of the competitions judges. In addition to Mr. Ali Khadr, founder and owner of Kapitalize and MES alumni, and Mr. Barek Mostafa of Robusta too. Congratulations to “Bagashe” project; created and presented by Zeina Amr, Hana Ghorab, Sara Marzouk, Nour Ayman and Yaseen Karim, MES seniors in the American divisions, they won the 3rd place. A BIG thank you goes to MES 2nd Sec students who ushered in the event in addition to Talia Bassem, 1st Secondary.
The activities were wound up with the Interact members visit to the senior home “بيت العيلة”. MES was so proud of the members performance with our elderly citizens.
